1. Program Purpose & Goals
 
Trout Creek School utilizes Title IV, Part A funds to supplement state and local efforts to:
  • Provide all students with access to a well-rounded education.
  • Improve school conditions for student learning (Safe & Healthy Students).
  • Improve the use of technology to improve academic achievement and digital literacy.
 
2. Required Funding Allocations
 
If Trout Creek School receives an allocation of $30,000 or more, we commit to the following federal spending "floors":
  • Minimum 20% on Well-Rounded Educational Opportunities.
  • Minimum 20% on Safe and Healthy Student Programs.
  • Portion of funds to support the Effective Use of Technology (with a 15% cap on technology infrastructure/hardware).
 
3. Core Activity Areas
 
  • Well-Rounded Education: Funds may support STEM/STEAM initiatives, music and arts programs, foreign language instruction, or accelerated learning (Gifted/Talented).
  • Safe and Healthy Students: Funds support mental health services, bullying prevention, physical education, and "Trauma-Informed" classroom training for staff.
  • Effective Use of Technology: Funds support professional development for teachers on digital blended learning and specialized educational software.
 
4. Administrative Requirements
 
  • Needs Assessment: Trout Creek School will conduct a comprehensive needs assessment every three years to identify gaps in student support and safety.
  • Stakeholder Consultation: We will consult with parents, teachers, and community members annually to prioritize how Title IV funds are used.
  • Supplement, Not Supplant: Title IV funds will only be used to add to what the school is already doing; they will never be used to replace state or local funds for basic operations.
 
5. Evaluation and Reporting
 
  • Annual Reporting: Trout Creek School will submit all required expenditure and performance data to the State Educational Agency (SEA) by the required deadline.
