Trout Creek is a peaceful community nestled in northwestern Montana along the Noxon Reservoir and the Clark Fork River. Surrounded by the stunning Cabinet Mountains Wilderness and the Kootenai National Forest, our area is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy hiking, world-class fishing, and wildlife watching.

Did You Know?

Trout Creek is officially recognized as the "Huckleberry Capital of Montana". In 1981, the state legislature gave the town this special title to celebrate the wild purple berries that thrive in the nearby mountains. Every August, the community hosts the annual Huckleberry Festival, featuring a parade, a 5K fun run, and plenty of delicious huckleberry treats.
