Jordey Sorenson. Speech Pathologist
Hello! My name is Jordey Sorenson, and I am thrilled to be joining the Cabinet Mountain Cooperative where I’ll be providing speech therapy to students in Thompson Falls, Noxon, and Trout Creek schools.
I grew up in Carlsbad, California, and earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Minnesota State University Moorhead. My passion for working with children with autism spectrum disorder inspired me to pursue a career in speech-language pathology, leading to the completion of my master’s degree from the University of Montana in 2025. I am currently completing my Clinical Fellowship and am excited to grow as a clinician!
I am passionate about building strong relationships with students and their families to help them grow in their communication confidence, while also having fun! Through compassion, dedication, and commitment to lifelong learning, I aim to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those I serve.
Outside of work, I enjoy watching and playing sports, spending time outdoors with my husband and our dog, Finn, and caring for our many animals.
