Core Subject Curricula

The district implements the following specific programs for core instruction:

• Mathematics: * Grades 3–5: Reveal Math © 2019.

  • Grade 6: Big Ideas Math © 2014.

  • Middle School (6-8): National Geographic Math.

  • Intervention: Do The Math.

• English Language Arts (ELA): * K–8: Amplify ELA.

  • Intervention: UFLI ELA Intervention.

  • Foundational Skills: Learning Without Tears (PreK) and Handwriting Without Tears (PreK-5).

• Science & Social Studies:

  • Social Studies: Savaas Social Studies.

District-Wide Standards

As a public school in Montana, the district adheres to the Montana K-12 Content Standards provided by the Office of Public Instruction (OPI). This includes:

• Indian Education for All (IEFA): Integration of American Indian history and culture across all grade levels as required by the Montana Constitution.

• Assessments: The district uses FastBridge for valid and reliable academic and social-emotional assessments.
