District Mission & Philosophy

The district operates under a philosophy of shared responsibility between the home, school, and community.

• Mission Statement: To develop the potential of each student as fully as possible by being proactive and responsive to individual learning styles.

• Student Motto: The district encourages students to S.O.A.R. (Safety First, On Task Learning, Always Responsible, Respectful Students).

District Leadership & Board

The district is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees who serve three-year terms.

• Board Chair: Scott Rasor

• Vice Chair: Elizabeth Loyd

• Board Members: Marian Stonehocker, Samantha Stonehocker and Carolyn Nesbitt

• Administration: The school is currently led by Supervising Teacher Vanessa Pallister.

Enrollment & Academic Structure

• Grade Span: The district serves students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade.

• Student Population: Recent data shows an enrollment of approximately 24 to 31 students.

• Student-Teacher Ratio: The district maintains a very low ratio of roughly 6:1, allowing for highly individualized instruction
